This little miss is just the cutest. I love the six month age… it’s all smiley chubby cheeks, sweet disposition and just squishable goodness. I hadn’t seen Phoebe since she was just days old, and I can’t wait to see how much she has changed when I see her again for her one year session!

I haven’t seen this cute little family for about six months, and it was so great to catch up with them and see how much the kiddos have grown!
Little Louie was not especially impressed with me the other day… in a combination of a nap cut short, a little fever coming on and some drizzly rain… but we did manage to sneak off some cute shots of him and his beautiful sisters.
This little miss and her family made the trek from NJ last weekend to meet up for their fall portraits, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. The weather was amazing… their clothing totally played perfectly well with the beautiful foliage, and Audrey was hamming it up!!
It’s no secret that I pretty much love all my clients… I gush over them, and I adore them, but then there are clients I LOVE. The ones who have been around since nearly the beginning of my journey, and have believed in me, and have trusted me to capture their most precious moments…. and these guys here? They are them. I am so blessed and so honored to be a part of their story for another year, with their boys getting so big, and seeing the brotherly bond that so often warms my heart with my own boys…. I’m so freaking lucky.
This first family picture, with Will whistling away, all nonchalant that his mom wanted just one awesome family photo? I couldn’t love it more, because as the mama of another feisty four year old boy… this is such a “true in this moment of time” picture… this is life!
Later though, in the pictures the big brother love from William to Henry honestly had me choked up at one point (how shocking!) This family is just way too cute. Love you guys!
These 5 are near and dear to me… Their mama is actually C’s niece, and I’ve known Nick and Natasha nearly as long as I’ve known my husband. They were high school sweethearts, and when I first met them they were so so young… they have defied every odd, beat every statistic, and here they are with their three beautiful children all these years later. I couldn’t be happier to have them in my life. Also? They make ridiculously cute kids.
Oh this cute family. I love them for so many reasons. Vincenzo is one of the sweetest 4 yr olds I know, and it goes without saying that this family is ridiculously gorgeous as a whole. More important than that though, they are kind… from the first time I ever met them when V was just a teensy babe, I’ve felt like I was spending time with old friends… and it still feels that way.
I also feel the need to acknowledge this mama for something she did three and a half years ago when we were in the hospital right after having P2, and my sweet hours old baby decided to stop breathing and turn blue. I was panicking, and she was working in the nursery of our hospital… as she and another nurse came rushing in after we pressed the emergency button frantically… she looked in my eyes and said “he’s going to be okay, I promise. I’ll take care of him”. It’s a moment that’s seared in my mind, and I believed her, because I already knew her… and I knew what a wonderful mother she was, so knowing that our brand new baby was leaving the room in her arms put me at ease. He was eventually fine, but it was such a scary first few days for us, and knowing that she was there truly helped. So J… thank you… because I don’t think I ever really told you how much that meant to me.
Every year when this sweet little family makes their trip home from Australia to Connecticut for the holidays, we get together for a photo session, and it’s been so fun to see their family grow through the years. This was the first time I got to meet little Lucas, and this year Aidan surprised me with his adorable Aussie accent. Why it was a surprise, I have no idea… he lives there, but it was absolutely adorable and I couldn’t get enough of it. So great to see you guys again!
Little Miss Halle is the second gorgeous daughter of a very old friend of mine, and she’s just as adorable as her big sister was. I’m so lucky to get to reconnect with people from my childhood as they experience such amazing times in their lives.
This sweet little miss… I photographed big sister when she was just days old as well, and I have to say, these two are going to be beautiful little heartbreakers when they get older. Such pretty little girls!
I know I have lots of “favorite families” that I gush about… but it’s not just a fluffy exaggeration, I’m really lucky to have a lot of clients who invite me to document the story of their family, to watch their children grow and capture the essence of that very moment in time. David is 6 months now, and I’ve been photographing this cute family since his big sister was a sweet little newborn.
I love the six month age – the big bright eyes, the huge gummy smiles and delicious baby chubs… there’s nothing better in the world!
I’m in the swing of a bunch of my teensy newborn Baby Planners hitting their sitting stage, and it’s been so great to catch up with these cute families again. First up, Mr. Gabriel. He wasn’t quite so sure about me at first, but after a little bit, he completely warmed up and we had such a cute little morning. I adore this sweet family, and have been photographing them since big brother Julian was just a days old baby.
Another sweet baby planner… this is seriously the best, I can’t even lie. The first year of a baby’s life goes SO fast, and getting to be a part of that, seeing them as they develop and ultimately become their own little people, is pretty stinking amazing.
Also amazing? I don’t think I posted about it, but at Aidan’s newborn session, his big brother Harrison (3 at the time) proudly named me all the dinosaurs in alphabetical order from A-Z. I was completely floored back then, but last weekend??? Harrison named me all 44 of the US Presidents, in order, by full name – only stopping every now and then to glance at the cover of a US Presidents puzzle that was on the floor. He’s FOUR! I couldn’t do it if I tried…. I was so impressed as he named them off, I actually had tears in my eyes knowing that at that very moment, I had the opportunity to hang out with a little guy who is some day going to be a very important big guy in this world.
Oh Miss Myla… her face should be familiar around here by now… but this day, her mama had said she was really hoping for just pictures of Myla and not all that interested in being in them herself. Life has a funny way, because I’m so SO glad she wound up in a few… this one here might be one of my favorites of all time.
I truly believe there is nothing more beautiful than an expectant mother, and her baby curves… but then there are those moms… you know, the ones who are pregnant with their THIRD child and look absolutely-to-die-for-amazing?!?! Yes, Nicole was definitely one of those… and to top it off, her whole family was just so sweet and kind. We skipped on the boardwalk, we played in the water, we saved special rocks, and shared blackberries. Most importantly though, we captured this special time before the arrival of their newest addition, a baby girl who is going to be one lucky little lady to be joining this family.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen this cute family, and I couldn’t get over how big this little guy has gotten… or how sweet the bond is between him and his cutie big brother.
This little lady had a birthday party to talk about for years to come… A petting zoo, pony rides, lots of games, an awesome children’s band, parachute play, and the most gorgeous details everywhere you looked!
This little man has grown so much since I last saw him, and we had a beautiful morning to share and document this silly and fast – as in I should have worn my running shoes – time in his life!
I love this little family… they are always so fun to catch up with and see how much their little have changed.
