One of my favorite things as I go through all the pictures from a session is to see that very moment that a child has finally warmed up to me… it usually doesn’t take long, but when I go through the pictures, I can always tell that exact moment.  Ava was fairly serious and not very interested in my antics until I softly asked her if I could have one of her apples, and she so  sweetly brought one to me, and we were friends after that.  This little girl… so much soul in her eyes, and so SO much mama love.  One of my favorites of all time!

What do you get when you take a couple with two of the biggest hearts I’ve ever met, and suddenly add in three little ladies who deserve a safe happy place to call home?  Well… perhaps a little bit of chaos (of the most amazing kind) and adjusting, but overall – a whole heck of a lot of love.  This new little family had me smiling (and running around like a crazy woman) on a beautiful morning, and I love the spirit captured here… These two are naturals at parenting, and I give them so much credit, support and love.

I always look forward to fall mini sessions – they are a chance for me to catch up with some of my favorite families and meet others for the first time.  I’m always so happy to go through the pictures after and see how sweet the littles are, and how we are able to capture so many great moments in a short span of time.  Here’s a preview of the mini sessions from Elizabeth Park a few weeks ago.  As always, I try to leave out the ones that I think will be the biggest winners or the stars of the holiday card.
